Good morning pilots! We're going to have great flights today!
Winds are a strong 22knots from 360 (taken from historical records). This means when you load your flights, you'll need to have power set to full with brakes engaged or you'll start sliding backwards.
Some tips we can provide include:
1. Avoid hitting the shack directly to your right!
2. Crab into the wind.
3. Flying the Wright Flyer is (not surprisingly I suppose) like riding a bicycle. The trick is to keep your balance by not banking too much in one direction or another.
4. Avoid the "death spiral" by applying rudder in the same direction as the bank when you turn.
Good luck!
