Season's Greetings!

I don't know. I think I recall Robert saying something at a chat that they're going to pack it up and make another attempt some time in the future.

Glad to you hear you're making a recovery. The flu this year seems to be particularly nasty.

We were leap frogging each other with longer distances, but in the I think I set the record of just about 1 nautical mile. It turns out the fuel quantity in the flight that MS uses is only about 85% full. So after adjusting fuel to 100% and learning to keep very low (under 15' altitude--use shift z for a readout), we were flying further than ever.

Looking back at it, instead of flying directly into the headwind, it occurs to me that if you flew on a tangent, you'd be able to cover a longer distance because the headwind wouldn't be causing your groundspeed to be so low. Perhaps one day we'll revisit this Rally to see if we can top our records.

That's funny! :)

Keep us posted.

Merry Christmas!
