Hi Gooper,

That's excellent. I'm pleased when I get over 15, and that's on a Pentium 2.4GHz with the latest GeForce 4 Ti4600! <G>. Mind you, I do have everything turned up to max and use some *very*dense scenery.

Visit the display options -- with those frame rates you can afford to improve some of the things in there. Go menu, Options-Settings-display.

Better? Hmmm. The frame rate "locking" actually means "limiting". The limit just tells FS not to bother to try to do more even if it can and instead to spend a little more time on other things, like smoother AI or dynamic traffic, and other non-user aircraft activities. you can adjust this limit, or even set it "unlimited", in the Options-Settings-Display section.

I'm not into military stuff, but if you want something as good as FS but also with guns and bombs and stuff like that you might want to try Microsoft's Combat Flight Sim. (BTW I think CFS 3 is likely being scheduled for release before Christmas -- at least if MS stick to their usual pattern it will be).

Regards,

Pete
