Maybe we could start a Bakersfield or one of the other nearby fields and fly a few short miles to the lake. The presence of an intersection over the lake makes it easy to make it a waypoint in the built in flight planner. The valley is fairly wide and if we don't get to carried away lowering the ceiling, the lake could be located without flying very high above ground level.I will check the listing later, but I dont know what designated seaplane ports are in the Central California Coast area. I'm not sure the C208 could cover a flight from points as distant as the southern end of San Fransisco Bay or the Long Beach / Catalina areas in our time period.
