"Mar 21 Multiplayer Ideas?"
03-16-04, 21:58z

A VFR flight from Paso Robles or Santa Maria with pilot's choice of the helicopers that come with the simulator OR some of the slower vintage planes that come with the simulator. FS 2002 pilots could use the Bell or the Camel. Pilots flying either simulator could also choose the Cessna 172 or 182. Cruise at over 90 knots discouraged. Maybe we could have some landings on runway 7/25. Direct routing using magnetic compass and "Mark 1" eyeball for navigation (many of the planes lack radio navigation gear anyway) with pattern entry at KSBP.

Some of the classic planes in FS 2004 have interesting features like animated valve lifters, pilots that move their heads and arms in response to control movements, and moveing control cables!

Other ideas welcome. Discussion expected here and in the scheduled weekday pilot lounge chats (Mar 17 & 19 at 0300z).
