I had my fingers crossed that you'd drop by, but I'll admit I was beginning to lose hope <g>. Let's not make it a once a year event ok? We all miss you around here! >>I get computer pilot because they also merged with Flight simulator world magazine (it was call full throttle before that).I have been receiving full throttle then Flight simulator world for many years now. They kept many of the thing from FS world and I find it is very good.<< I never received Full Throttle, but I was once a subscriber to both MicroWings and Computer Pilot. In the time I subscribed, I consistently found Computer Pilot the superior publication. Particularly in the review department. It seems that MW was swayed much more by advertising dollars than journalistic integrity. This is not my view by the way...I was told by a reviewer who happened to be a friend of mine, that his "review" as written, would not be published because it was too negative. Of course the product was an advertiser for the mag. Once I heard that, the decision was made, my subscription would not be renewed. I also have a good friend that used to work for PC Aviator (parent company for Computer Pilot), and he said that no such nonsense went on there. I kept that subscription for a couple of years, but for one reason or another I let it lapse. I suppose it's time to revisit renewing it since PC Aviator acquired MicroWings, and not vica versa <g>.
