Ah, *if* Fly!2 is a DirectPlay application (DX 5 or higher), you'll need to install it on your system (as opposed to copying the directories) for the proper DX registry entries to be made (which the launcher looks for). You could copy the Win98 installation folders over again and be back where you were, but with a possible working multiplayer feature.

That won't really help much. The missing key to this puzzle are the DX registry entries since we use a DX launcher system. If there isn't any peer to peer connection feature in Fly!2, then we're at a dead end. Developing a Fly!2 server (non-DX to boot!) would be a huge undertaking.
