"Charts"

Hi All

Does anyone know of a website where I can get European, American, Arfican Charts etc. I looked in vain today for an Approach and ILS Chart for Malta (LMML). I can get all the English airports charts free from http://195.217.206.173 (National Air Traffic Service Remote Server). But finding other airports outside the UK seems to be impossible, and Jeppesen's charges are way to high to consider! :P

Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)

Cheers

Hi Sam:

We have links to US charts in the Pilot Service Links area. Don't know where to get charts for outside the US tho. They're hard to come by for real, so I'd imagine they're just as hard or harder to find on the net.

Try this link. He has a program called FinalApproach which has ton's of approach plates available. I checked and there is one for LMML. It's a shareware program and very nicely done. If you need approach plates for anything out of the US this is a great way to go.

Georges is a great guy and really helpful to his users. If you do try the program, get the addon zip files for the most plates.

Sam

Try the Vatsim Europe site. I found some links from there that provided all the charts I needed for Madrid.

Andrew,

As well as looking at the various VATSIM sites also check out IVAO.

When I am flying into an airport I am unfamiliar with I usually check the regional VATSIM site, then IVAO and as a last resort do a search for <airport name> charts, it can be a bit lengthy but usually pays of.

I think I got my Malta charts from IVAO....just checked and it was, try this link
