"Virtual Cockpit View"

Posted by andor on 02-12-02 at 18:12z
In FS2K2 I cannot get the Virtual Cockpit View in the Lear, Mooney B, Sopwith or Schweizer, the other aircraft are OK having all the cyclic views.
I have just recently downloaded the Cessna Citation for FS2K2 and it has the Virtual Cockpit view. I cannot recall if the mentioned aircraft had this view prior to download or not. Have deleted the Citation and re-installed to no effect.
Has anyone experienced the same problem and as usual, any advice very welcome. TIA
Regards,
Andyc.

The impression I have is that a few of the Aircraft included with FS 2002 are umodified from the FS 2000 versions and thus don't have the virtual cockpits. The radio stacks may appear updated in some of these aircraft because some aircraft share gages, thus the old aircraft benifit from the radio stack made for the new aircraft.

Hi Andy,

What Robert said is correct. They focused on the new aircraft, and pretty much left the older ones alone. We asked the same question during the beta test.
