Could somebody please advise if it is safe to simply delete a downloaded aircraft from the FS2K2\aircraft file.
ie. by doing so could it also delete some other necessary files.
TIA.

Hi Andy,

You should be OK deleting add on aircraft (complete folder) with no side effects. The only time I can see this being a problem is if you had two using the same panel config file and you happen to delete the folder pointed to :-)

Regards,

James.

Many thanks James, hoping to delete the Cessna Citation and replace with the last Spitfire model, whichever it may be, any idea where to find same.
Again TIA for any info.

You don't have to delete your Citation. You can keep on stuffing aircraft in there till your had disc screams for mercy. My FS98 Aircraft folder once had 120+ aircraft in there. Took about 10 mins to load :-)

By 'last Spitfire model' do you mean an FS model of the last Spitfire in service, the F24? I've not seen an FS02 model of that yet, if so. There is an FS98 one on flightsim.com, and an F21 as well as I remember.

If you're feeling flush with money I could recommend Just Flights BBMF package, there are two PR XIXs in there, one painted as an FXIV, which are really good, albeit a little tricky on finals. The Griffon sound package is pure MUSIC!

No connection with Just Flight here, just a very satisfied customer.

Regards
Kit
