I keep hearing bits of rumors about MicroWings... what do you know about it? Anybody out there got any solid information on what the situation is? I must admit that I don't feel like I've been getting my money's worth out of my membership for years, but I had hoped one day to attend another conference.

I haven't heard any thing as of yet! I feel like you that my membership isn't what it could be and was hoping to meat up with a lot of folk at the next Convention. I've not long since renewed my Subs for 3 years!!!

It's way too early to talk about it, but if MW has indeed disappeared, it's not totally out of the question that another group of dedicated FS and aviation enthusiasts near and dear to us might take up the torch so to speak.

Hehe... yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Just as MicroWings picked up the torch from CPAA. I don't know if any of you reading this were around for the Computer Pilots Assoc of America. I haven't heard anything official, but the buzz is that they are done. I know one thing. They are 2 issues behind on the MW Magazine, it has never arrived on time, but it has never been this late before, without some sort of explanation.
I can't get Bob or Jeff to answer e-mail. The e-mail I sent keeps coming back. They don't respond in their forums either.
I really hope it's not true, 'cause I wanted to go to another Conference myself.
