Greetings Tim:I don't have FS2K2 or a G2 64 Ultra, but my *guess* would be (provided that you've seen FS2K2 on another systems and have confirmed that what you're seeing is just the way the program is) that you may have forced antialiasing enabled.
If the G2 64 Ultra should have it's antialiasing setting in the 3D Antialiasing tab. If you don't know where that is, let me know.
Hope this helps.

Ben,So, I should turn this off both on the card (options are 2x, 4x, or off) and in Fs2002. Is this what they mean by FSAA?

You'll have to play with it and see what you like. As they say, "blurry is in the eye of the beholder." Well, something like that.

Hi Tim:Did turning antialiasing off do anything for you blurry textures? Have you tried running FS at a different resolution (higher or lower)?

I would also experiment with the different filtering settings (off, bi, tri). I believe that that is the setting that blurs the textures. This is designed to get rid of the "sparkling" texture effect isn't it?Rick Lee

What do you have the Aircracft texture size slider set to? Try putting it on Massive. >Greetings Tim:

If you have MIP Mapping turned on, try turning it off. Thats in the FS2002 Options/Display/Hardware...Cheers,
