Sorry about that.. hit the Caps Lock instead of Tab. !!!If any of you guys have,nt tried out the Safety Program button in the VPC, suggest you do, looks like there is a wealth of info. attached re comm.procedures etc. also a very neat little print out facility for the SBP airport runway and taxi-way designation, which in the 2k2 ATC has been a mystery (to me ) when given taxi instructions.
Thx again Ben,
Regards Andyc.

We really have tons of information here at the VPC and it's constantly being updated. In fact we update/add content so often that we don't even bother making announcements about what's been done anymore. For example we posted Brett Holcomb's (MS MVP) article on FS2K2's autopilot operation on the FlightAdventures Magazine (page 8), Robert Cruse's FS2K2's adventures in the FS Adventure Logs, we've adding study items to the the Ground School, additional test bank questions to the Test Center, the list goes on and on. I can't encourage everyone more to look around and see what we've got.
Thanks again,
Ben

Hi Ben,>>In fact we update/add content so often that we don't even bother making announcements about what's been done anymore.<<
Personally, even though I personally check this stuff, an announcement here in FSFORUM might be prudent (with links). Then we'd be certain no one misses out on any of this GREAT stuff!

>**6 miles SSE KSJC** I have to agree with Greenie on this one. I think an announcement of new stuff being posted, not unlike the way we used to post messages regarding new file uploads in the old forum would improve the use of this forum and encourage members to look at the new stuff. There is so much available here that it is hard to keep up with and new stuff can easily slip by, unnoticed, by folks who are otherwise busy also. I am still finding stuff here that I wish I knew was available months ago....
Now that we have three 'sysop type' folks here to help out, maybe one of us could be tasked to post 'heads up' type messages when some new goodies are added. The one who adds new stuff would have to alert the New Info Sysop who could, then, prepare a message in the message board letting all know of the latest additions...

Seriously, we'll do that once things have settled down some more. There's just too much still changing to make announcements yet.

I'd be happy to take on that task, once you are ready to start it. I think I can come up witha "macro/boilerplate" thingie so it should be manageable....***Reality - the refuge of those who can't handle simulation***
