Hey Gang,

The VPC admin have decided to extend the sale of a yearly membership until 11/30/01! Coincidentally, that is the same day that GAMERS is closing it's doors. Actually, it seemed fitting ;-)

As you all know, basic membership here is free, but we don't have a big corporation such as AOL, or Microsoft backing us here. I'm sure you all will also notice that you don't see banner ads, or ads of any sort for that matter, so any help you all can provide is *greatly* appreciated! A full membership simply helps us defray the costs of software, server space, etc. That full membership also includes these additional benefits:

VPC Crew Icon
FlightAdventures CREW eMail Account
FlightAdventures Web eMail access
FlightAdventures WAP Mail Access (requires WAP-enabled device)
Access to VPC Crew-only areas
Access to email Technical Support
High-Speed FTP File Download access (when available)
Other perks TBA!

Where are the details on the pricing and payment methods? :)

Shoot, I appear to finally have become an adult, making charitable donations to good causes. Slap a Flight Sim sticker on something and the wallet just seems to pop open lately... :D

Head on over to the main page of the site, and click on Pilot Shop, then click on the link that reads: "join the VPC as a Crew Member," and all the info is there.

Seriously, I like what I see and feel like it could become a *home* - the least I can do is support it.

Hehe, yup, that's what it's all about my friend! If I didn't like what I saw a few months ago, we'd still be scrambling for a place! ;-) This is the "re-birth" of FSFORUM the way I see it, and we're gonna have FUN!

G,day Mike, damn and blast, have just (yesterday) forwarded one years subscription ($29.95 US ) to Flight Adventures based on the assumption that I had "missed out" on the yearly membership offer... perhaps can sort something out next year :). In the meantime very glad to offer my subscription and support to the VPC. Is and always will be a great site.

We all thank you for your support. Regarding missing the sale, we'll extend the sale price to you as well. We can either give you 1.5 years or refund the difference for the second half year. Please let me know which you prefer.

Hey Greenie, OK, I'll give it a go! Ya know, I even paid to look at what the pros have to say in the aviation forum at CIS & if this place turns out to be even half as interesting, it will be money well spent :-) .
