During the beta, many tips were passed back and forth and I kick myself for not writing all of them down. I can never rely on my lousy memory.

Does anyone here recall the fs8.cfg fix to allow turns when the AP is holding altitude? I bet Greenie knows!

And, Greenie, if you're hoarding any more tidbits that came out of the beta, how about sharing them?

OK, since you asked...

Open the cfg file for the plane you want to edit (yeah, this needs to be done for each plane :-(). Add these lines to the section of that file:

use_no_default_pitch = 1 use_no_default_bank = 1

I think that should do it.
