Hi Mike,The Sig is real easy, but you need a website to park your graphic at.
Simply create a Sig Graphic, put it on a website go to the User Profile and type in the URL in the signature area.
The beauty of this Forum Software is that it allows you to use graphics, simply by pointing to their URL.

Hiya BC!This is just too friggin awesome...another FSFORUM regular (and ex-sysop I might add), graces these halls! Ben and his crew are to thank for this, Mooney is to thank for getting me in touch with these great folks, and me...I'm volunteering again <g>. I thought my sysoping days were done with the closing of GAMERS, but this site is a dream come true!
Bill, we're still in beta, so "mum" is really the word now, but PLEASE...compile a list of folks to tell about this site, and let them know when Ben gives the word!
Another thing, make sure you register on the message board, then log in before you post. That way you won't show up as a passenger (unregistered). The ACARS thing that pops up when you come here isn't yet linked to the message board (or anything else), so you need to register and log in at each place in the site. It'll change soon, but remember...beta <g>

Hey Guys,I thank you all for the welcome! I keep looking around for Nightie...<g>
Sorry it took so long to get back. What with winding up with the FS2K2 beta and installing a brand new system, I've been out of touch.
I have no idea what's going on and what I must do to complete membership here, but I'm willing to learn. Do you people in charge have any requirements for me to complete?
Maybe I'd just better do a lot of listening here to figure things out. In any event, the environment is mighty nice!

Greetings Bill:
There are no "requirements" for general public access other than registering usernames and passwords for each feature area (we're still working on integrating all of the features so that you'll only need to register once and login once per session to access all of the VPC features).
Regarding membership status, we have two levels of membership here:
Public (free) and Crew Member (membership dues are required)
With that said, please note that the VPC is available to all free of charge.
The difference between the two type of memberships is a VPC Crew Member helps to support the VPC's expenses through their membership fee/dues. In return Crew Members receive value-added benefits not available to free access members such as a Crew.FlightAdventures.com email address, access to web email, WAP mail (requires a cell phone), Member-only areas, etc. etc. etc. (details can be found in the Membership area of the Pilot Shop). Although we're still working out details with some partners for more stuff not listed there yet, anyone that signs on now will get everything we'll offer when it becomes available.
While I'm on the subject, I should probably recap what we're all about here:
While most of us behind the scenes are ex-MSN, ex-Zone, and soon-to-be ex-CiS, unlike MSN, the Zone, and CiS/AOL, there are no big corporations behind the VPC. (Thankfully in many aspects! --if you look at it from our point of view!) And if anyone has given any thought into what it takes to run a commercial-quality web site, they'd realize that there are costs involved with keeping the VPC's virtual doors open.
The VPC doesn't not receive any money from advertisers. The VPC is purely membership supported. VPC Crew Members are members that through their contributions are supporting the VPC. If you think about how a museum runs, you'll understand our "business" model.
Again, we don't require anyone to step up and become Crew to access and enjoy the VPC.
However, for anyone that thinks what we're providing here is worthy of continued existance (the cold hard fact is if no one thinks us worthy, we'll eventually run out of money and disappear), for a limited time, we're offering a discount on memberships. We're also providing free membership extensions throughout our beta period. For example, if our beta period goes on for two more months and you pay for a 12 month membership, you'll end up with a membership total of 14 months.
Even if you can't afford to become a Crew member (and assuming that you want to see the VPC continue) one can still support the VPC by buying products through our Affiliates section in the Pilot Shop. The VPC will receive a small (very small actually) commission for anything sold through the Pilot Shop Affiliates links. There's no additional cost to the buyer for this service. So we hope
that people will consider supporting the VPC by buying things they'd normally buy anyway though our links rather than shopping directly.
Every little bit helps and we thank you for your support!
<end fund raising speech>
Thanks!
Ben

Bill,
Good to see you here !
I really like the fact that I haven't seen one "flamer" message yet and the membership looks, feels, and acts mature.
A great place for old timers like us !
