Simulated aerial photography mission with special low altitude clearance.
Most of navigation using landmarks.
Small fixed wing or a helicopter.

Departure / Destination: Teterboro (KTEB)
Tower: 119.500 & 125.100
ATIS: 132.025
Elevation: 9
Runways: 1/19 7004 ft asphalt, 6/24 6009 ft asphalt
ILS: rwy 19 ITJL on 110.150, rwy. 6 ITEB on 108.900

Radio Navigation: VOR/DME Teterboro (TEB) on 108.40


  1. Depart Teterboro climbing to 1500 ft on a heading of 102 to George Washington Bridge (approximately 5nm).

  2. Turn right overflying Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, the New York Stock Exchange and Battery Park.

  3. Descend to approximately 500 ft and turn right to approach and circle Statue of Liberty.

  4. Proceed up the East River over Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queensboro bridges.

  5. Turn left at the Triboro bridge and overfly Yankee Stadium on the way back to the George Washington Bridge (Note slope of Hudson River surface in default FS 2004 scenery).

  6. Return to Teterboro (282 heading) entering pattern to land.
