Greetings Guido:

It sounds like you ran into two bugs and a quirk with FS2K2.

With some aircraft, they just stop after idling for too long. I don't know what the reason is (perhaps the mixture being too rich). I know this happens in the pistons, but I seem to recall it happening in the Concorde as well, so it may affect the Caravan too.

You probably drained the battery. The battery life in FS2K2 is unrealistically short. (There are some changes that can be made to the aircraft's .cfg files to reduce the problem.) The way that FS2K2 shows this failure is by checking the electrical systems failure box.

That's the way it works. You can't recharge the battery, so it remains checked.

That's because it's an electrical failure.
