"missing a.i. aircraft in fs2002"
05-19-02, 07:43z

For some time now I have been missing my ai aircraft. I'm all alone in the sky. I read somewhere that I should extract the aircraft.cab file from disk 1 of the program into the main fs2002 directory. When I did this, it extracted three pages of files, but then stopped and indicated that the aircraft.cab file was corrupt.
Now what? Any ideas how to get my a.i. aircraft back?
Thanks
Donn

Hiya Donn

First of all I would check that under Settings --> ATC, that the traffic percentage is not at 0% if you haven't messed with it, it shouldn't be at zero

As for the file corruption, I know some extracting programs dont like opening CAB files (although there is an option to install a CAB files viewer from your Windows Disk, I think Windows Me and above support this). Apart from that your best bet is to probably try a reinstall of FS2002, this will replace any files that have been damaged or missing

Please keep us informed about your problem :)
