I'm having trouble connecting to a friends ip address, i'm unable to see the game he has started. I also have trouble connecting to msn game zone. I have a dsl connection with a Cisco678 router.
Any help or suggestions would be appricated.
Dave

Greetings Dave:

Just our FS FAQ's. We list the ports you need to open on your router and firewall to get mulitplayer to work.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dave,

>>I have a dsl connection with a Cisco678 router.<<

Is that router configured as a firewall? I'm pretty sure it is. You'll have to allow access to the port that MP is using for FS. Unfortunately, offhand I don't know what it is, but I'm sure someone will jump in with more detail.
