I won't be flying the Sancho Memorial Rally, even though it was my idea. I've had enough of the crass stupidity that is endemic in many of M$'s products, and the combination of problems that I've been having over the last few weeks with Win98, FS98 and FS02 have finally done it for me.
Last night Melo and I managed to fly our own FS02 MP flypast in a Starliner and a Super Connie over Berne in Sancho's honour, thank goodness, and we have some great pics and memories of that occasion. Even so I had to run in non-accelerated mode...
After that my PC wouldn't run FSNav or FS98. This morning it won't even start when it's in it's docking station, let alone run any simulator. Out of the docking station it will run FS98, just, but not FSNav. It won't run FS02 at all. I've reloaded Win98 THREE times, this morning it took no less than THIRTY TWO restarts to install it! And after all that hard work it STILL won't work.
I think I'm going back to cycling, at least I can do that.
