We're able to do many neat things, and we have created many such tools already, but most are very specialized to flight sim'ing and real aviation. I think your situation of being a sim'er and a real flight student, you're able to use and appreciate them, where as most not in your shoes or who understand real aviation might find them too complicated or won't see their usefulness. Our hope here is to educate the non-flying members and bring them "up to speed" so to speak so they can and will use these tools in the future. On a related note, we have the technology to integrate flight plans with automated ATC for multiplayer flight in the PWF. We've been kicking around the idea of turning it on. One idea is to use the FPTG to also create flight plans that our AI ATC can read. The concept is when you create your flight plan, you'll be able to "file" with the PWF's ATC using the same tool. If there's interest in this, perhaps we'll devote some time to bringing it online.
