It comes in handy to run the Windows IP configuration display application.Search your boot drive for WINIPCFG.EXE
The application would normally be in your Windows directory for Windows 95 and 98. Please report in this thread if you have ME or XP and if the application is in the same location.
Right click on the WINIPCFG.EXE file for a context menu that will allow you to create a shortcut you can place on your desktop, in your start menu, or in the quickstart menu on your taskbar.
I have to reboot to check, but I think you can read the IP address in Microsoft Flight Simulator's Flights | Multiplayer | Host Settings dialog also.
