I agree. An excellent article and very well written. Rick is a regualar on Compuserve's AVSIG forum. His points are well made and those of us who do most of our flying at untowered airports can relate :). Radio clutter is even more profound around here where there are a large number of untowered airports, all assigned the same CTAF frequency. On a blue sky weekend, just the normal position reports can fill up much of the airspace and when guys get on there and start 'jawing' about their weekend plans, it can be frustrating at the least...
