"ANR Headsets that work in the Extra..."

The Extra is LOUD and I'm going deaf using old David Clarks with the radio volume max'ed out (not to mention all the radio calls I miss.) It seems like ANR is a must. I've tried a Lightspeed 25XL and it is driven out of phase by the sound level so it DOUBLES the noise. Bose-X headsets work pretty well (particularly at idle) but they still have some trouble at certain power settings. The other problem is that they are hard to get into a cloth helmet and they are expensive. The Bose is my best solution yet but I haven't given up on finding something better. I haven't tried a helmet mounted set yet and I wouldn't even know what to try. I'd be grateful for some good headset advice. What works in the Extra? Thanks!
