Sorry for all of the confusion. It's really very simple and as you've noted you'll laugh about all of this once you've seen it work. FlyNow! works just the way the Zone works. You connect to the server, log in, join or create a game and it'll automatically launch the game and connect all of the players.
Let's back up a bit. All that's need to fly mulitplayer is FlyNow! and your sim(s) of choice. RW is just used for voice communications (purely optional).
1. Connect to your ISP
2. Double Click FlyNow!
3. Click Connect
4. Login (or register a new account if you don't have one on the flight server)
5.a. To Join an existing Flight/Game:
- Click on the Join Game button from the menu on the left
- Select the Game you wish to join from the list
- Click the Join! button.
Once you've joined the game, wait for the Controller/Host to launch the game. Please be patient. Your game will launch automatically when the Controller/Host starts the session.
5.b. To Create a Flight/Game:
- Click on the Create Game button from the menu on the left side of Fly_Now!.
- Select the Game you with to create from the drop down menu.
- Enter a unique Gamename in the appropriate box (this is required)
- Click the Create! button to create the game.
- When every one is ready, click the Launch button. The game/sim will load itself and launch.

Correct. It's just an application that allows people to chat and join a game without exchanging IP addresses, etc.. It automates the multiplayer launching process.
>What happens if I do join a game?
You'll be places in the host's game chat room until the host launches/begins the game.
>I have no idea since I've never had the opportunity.
Well, you're doing the right thing by asking, but if you just play with the app itself you'll see how it works. It's pretty intuitive (we think at least!), but you can't break anything, so go ahead and click things.
>do I then get to fly my airplane and converse with others?
Well, you get to fly what ever airplane is loaded in your sim of choice (we support other non-flight games as well). Conversing with others by text chat can be done within FS2Kx or by voice using RogerWilco.
>Or what does FlyNow do for me and how does it tie in with the flight rooms?
FlyNow! is the Windows version of the Web-based FlightRoom app we're building. Eventually FlyNow! will go away and be replaced by the FlightRoom web version. The only tie in we have with the FlightRooms now is the chat host uses the same server, so whether you're in the FlightRooms or on FlyNow!, everyone can converse with each other.
>See how dense I am? Actually, when I get to experience it
>once, I'll probably understand the whole thing.....
Yep, that's for certain. There's much more going on here talking about it than there is to the app itself!
