"OLR Suggestion"

Hi Guys on the OLR Development Team,

Starting to like this OLR already, but there is a small point about the user interface that I find rather annoying - not a bug.

If a thread is completely read and marked as such, it disappears. When another message joins the end of the thread, the thread re-appears in the window, but fully shrunk down to the first message, with a "+" box beside it. To find the new message I have to click on every plus sign in the tree to expand all the branches, eventually reaching the new message.

Could the system be made to display that thread fully expanded with the new message visible in red at the end of its branch (or better still, perhaps, just the sub-branch containing the new message)?

(I've just called this message back to edit it - nice to have the Edit Replies button, someone's put some thought into this - and found that the built-in spelling checker rejects VPC!)

Alan
