"In Memory of Joe Favors"

It is with a very sad heart that I share the following with you: Joe Favors, a regular at MSN and here during the early days of the VPC and friend to many of us, passed away on February 14th, 2004 from a heart attack. I only just received word from his wife, Becky tonight.

Joe, clear skies and tailwinds to you.

Ben

I wish I had gotten to talk to him and known him better, only had a few emails, I'm very sorry.
Clear skies and safe passage Joe.

It is most saddening to hear this news.

Thanks for making VPC users aware, Ben.

Sad news indeed. I had the privaledge along with John M, Gunner, Steve Halpern and Tom Main just to name a few in meeting Joe at the MicroWings Convention in Orlando a number of years ago. Great guy and a lunatic driver (my wife and son testified to the fact) when he picked us up at the airport.

Would appreciate someone organizing a Memorial Flight for him one week end.

Ben, Does John M know? Also, could you pass on our deepest sympathy to his wife for us all.

Jeeze, and I was having a good day today to.........

Regards,

James (CONman) Anderson

Understand my friend - been there, done that (twice) - trying to avoid a third.

Should you need to let off steam in a private manner - feel free to e-mail me.

Take care and KIT,

Vic

Damn, sad news indeed. I've known Joe from the beginnings of FSFORUM on CIS. He'll be missed. As well as myself, Lee James and his family pass along their condolences to Joe's family.
