Hi Greenie

I'm making progress here on the projection plus TFTs changes and have discovered a very useful feature of the Ti4600.

Although I have the excellent WidevieW installed, it is possible to get an active panel on the TFT by activating the extended desktop. I project the main graphic, undock the panel and drag it across to the TFT. Works a treat.

Best regards
Frank

Multiple monitors are awesome huh? What video cards are you using to drive the other displays? If I remember correctly the Ti4600 only has one VGA connector. I assume you're using that for the projector.

Hi Mike

>>What video cards are you using to drive the other displays?<<

I am running 2 PCs. The other unit has a GeForce 3 Ti500.

>>If I remember correctly the Ti4600 only has one VGA connector. I assume you're using that for the projector.<<

I am, but the point of my message is that The Ti4600 can work on two monitors at once. It has two sockets; one is digital the other is analogue. My projector is an analogue model and is connected appropriately, while the TFT is connected to the digital socket. The use of nView enables the monitor to be used as an extension of the projected desktop. The discovery of this blew my mind. Also it has saved me the expense of a PCI card :-) .

Frank

Ahhh, that I did not know. Excellent news. It brings flight simulation to a new level doesn't it??

Sure does. That's why I mentioned it. I hadn't read about this feature. Hence my surprise. The Ti4600 may be expensive but if it can do the work of two cards with no loss of fs it is worth it.

BTW my fps, with everything maxd plus detailed addon airport scenery, does not drop below 18. Most of the time it runs between 28 & 30. Bliss........ :-)

Best regards
