"Huh???"

Need a wee bit of clarification here, gang....

What does "ACARS" mean as used here?

I know what ACARS means in the aviation world, but how is it different
in this activity?

What does "mindate" mean? I see it as part of some procedures during
my logon efforts.

All answers greatly appreciated!

Hi Norm,

"mindate" is short for "minimum date" - only messages from
threads with the latest modification after that date are
downloaded by the OLR.

Or in other words:
Threads older than "mindate" are ignored.

Hello Guido...

Thanks for your prompt answer!

We moved from Sunrise to Plantation about two months ago.
From a two-bedroom condominium apartment to a five bedroom
house, together with daughter-in-law, her husband and child.
The husband has cancer and we felt that we would be in better
condition to support them by joining them in buying a large house
where we could all live together.

Regards,
Norm

ACARS, like its real world counterpart is just an instant messenger like MSN or AOL instant messenger. I think the biggest differences between the two besides being wireless, is our version doesn't connect to your printer (we didn't see the need).

Hope this helps!

Ben
