Hi Ben!

Thanks for your information about the "delete" situation. Now I understand why the function does not exist. Chalk it up to my complete lack of knowledge of both the
PERL language and the DCForum stuff.

No problem. It's not that we don't want to add the feature, it's just that it won't work the way you'd like it to if we did.

Regardless, we're working on a purge function where you'll be able to purge all threads/messages before a set date. The OLR will then set a min date to download new messages, but again, if someone replies to a message you've purged, the OLR will download the entire thread again. We hope you'll find this useful.

However, on the horizon, we're discussing ways to fundamentally change the way the message format of DCForum so you'll be able to delete individual messages from your personal database and avoid the thread issue.
