Hiyas AllLooks like Microsoft are putting some hardwork into the next installment of their FS Range, below are some sites you may find of interest which outline the new features;
MS Official FS 2002 Site
MS Gamestock
GameSpot's FS 2002 Preview
Daily Radar's FS 2002 Preview
It certainly looks promising!
Happy reading

That's a good idea, Sam. But I'm not sure if that's what people want to see here. I mean, there are several sites out there that are going to report on that very subject. I don't think there's any need for the VPC to get stuck in that rat race. But unless people speak up and let us know what they want, we may be left following what *I* think!
(Hint, hint, hint... is there anyone else out there reading this stuff?)
Ben
True, there are going to be hundreds of sites doing stuff about E3 and all the latest games, but they're going to be a bunch of hype. Maybe we could do a "real deal" type page, not caving in to rumors, but only giving straight facts. It could be an ongoing projct right up to the release! Of course, I know this would be a big project, and being an ameature webmaster myself, I know how keeping a page updated can be a pain, but why not give it a shot? At least to see how many people actually visit the page. Then you could base your decision on wether to keep it or not on the trafic it gets. But enough about business. On with the fun stuff! I'm so glad MS is finally adding the 400 to their official fleet. I'm not the most professional at flying the big jets, but it's still fun. I also can't wait to see what non-MS developers can do with it... Let's just hope that it can still run on today's systems! lol

Greetings TJ:
The "real deal," eh? I think there're still about a dozen or so sites that say they're just that as well.
If someone here really wants to volunteer to head out to E3 (it'll have to be on their dime too) and write up a report, I'm sure they'd be more than welcome to "print" their story here. (But that's Jay's call. He da man in these parts!)
Personally, I'd much rather the VPC partner with a good FS News site and let them handle that kind of stuff for the VPC. I really don't think the FS world needs more FS news from anyone, let alone us.
As for myself, I've worked in the business for too many years to really believe that anything earth shattering about FS2K2 will come from E3. If you don't want hype, then E3 is the absolute worst place to look for a real story, IMHO. E3 is HYPE!
Anyways, I'll wait to see the finished product before I'll believe MS's (or any other flight sim developer's for that matter) claim on anything--especially things like a minimum machine spec. What was it they said the last time out? P-166 was it? LOL!
My bet is the old 100% rule maybe still alive and kicking in the industry (the rule of thumb was double whatever the developer says is the minimum spec and you'll get a realistic starting point)! I suppose we'll see. I hope I'm wrong (so I won't have to upgrade)!
BTW, what's the url of your web site? Aviation related I hope? (Or at least some pix of some pretty girls there?)
Best!
Ben
