"Daytona airshow..."

Greetings,

Just wanted to let everyone know, that during the ERAU airshow in Daytona..I made Mike Gullian miss his floor in the elevator while staying at the Adam's Mark. I kind of felt bad, but hey, I saw him, and had to introduce myself, even as the doors opened, then closed with 14 people in the elevator. I guess I made everyone else miss their floor as well...so if anyone knows Mike..please apologize for the bumbling idiot (me) hehe. Sorry to say that I didn't get to see anyone fly because they cancelled the airshow on Sunday on account of the weather being about as bad as it can get for an airshow. I did get to see Sugar Ray play (not really a fan), and saw many drunk people being carried out of the ocean walk under someone else's will. That was kind of entertaining. Saturday afternoon, I saw a beech baron skimming the coast (can only assume it was Patty flying). I figured she'd bust out a snap or two in the twin engine monster, but alas..it was not meant to be. All in all, the beach front room was great, and I'm sure all the pilots put on a hell of a show Saturday. As for sunday, the ceiling was low, and I still have wind rash and sand in my ear from sitting on the beach like an idiot with my wife next to me wondering why in the world I would keep her out in that kind of weather. Even as I saw the aerobatic box markers wash ashore by the seven foot waves, I was remaining optimistic. Hehe. Does that make me dedicated I wonder?? Oh well..till next year I guess...Later all..

Mike..

Mike

I'll pass your message on to Mike Goulian. I'm sure it's not the first time he's ever missed his floor on an elevator, and won't hold it against you! :) :)

The Daytona show was, as you probably know, cancelled on Sunday. Unfortunately there was a big storm and ceilings were low and there were no rescue boats out there for us...too bad! Saturday was great though, and it looked like from the sunburned people I saw at the hotel, a good time was held by all.

Best!
Patty
