"Posts or lack off"

Hi Guys,

Is it me or is it someone else? There seems to be a lack of new posts etc within the forum! I would have thought with folks moving from 2004 (FS9) to FSX posts would have increased?

I also note that the regular flights are not advertised as much along with replies to posts. I would have assumed that a quiery on the sites software would have a prompt reply, not a wait of either days, weeks or never!!!!

Is the site on a wind down or what???

Hi James:

No, you're not imagining it. Yep, you'd think there'd be posts about FSX. Perhaps the adoption rate isn't as great as in the past version? I have it sitting here, but still haven't installed it yet. --one of these days--

Most of the questions I've seen have been discussed in the chats with our regulars. In fact most traffic is in the chats these days.

Ben

Hi Ben,

I have FSX installed (not having FS2004)and have not been browsing all that much elsewhere to see what problems FSX has. The only thing I can see wrong with it at present is scenery/aircraft bopping around even if the engine(s) are off!!

Nows a good a time as any with SP2 etc is due out around the 25th of this month.

Right <G>. Will have to make a point of setting my alarm so I can jump in.

Still can't get the OLR working! Where and what ext's do the db files have? Vic mentioned .dbf but I cannot find any files with that file ext anywhere relating to flightadventures on my system?? Any assistance you guy's can give would be appreciated. Also, what password/user name should be used?

Regards,

James.

My systems has all of the data files in the mysql folder. The extensions are
.frm .myd and .myi. We have a database to download somewhere on the site. (Can't remember where, but if you do do site search or check the VPC forum we probably have a link posted there).

The login password will be the same as the one you use to post here. If your need regi number for the OLR, drop me an email.

Best!

Ben

I've never received a single reply to any post I've made on this site. It seems dead...

Perhaps no one had any comment to add?
