The Blackbird is the king of a generation of Hi Altitude, Hi Speed Reconnaissance/Strike planes. I am sure you are familiar with it. I just found these web links and figure you'll probably enjoy them as much as I have.

A friend of mine calls the SR71 the most sensual plane ever built.... I couldn't agree more.
