"New Matrox drivers overcome FS2002 problems"

Hi all,

For those of you with the Matrox G400 / G450 you may like to know that updated beta drivers are now available to overcome the blue-edged runway markings. I've downloaded and installed them and they have solved the problem hopefully without introducing any other problems! <g>

You can pick them up from here: -

Regards,

Ray.

Hi Ray,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year my friend....

Will take a look and see if those drivers are also for Win XP :-)

Regards

James.

James,

They certainly ARE for WinXP and they work beautifully.

I installed them on 6 computers yesterday.....all went easy and perfect.

Regards,

Mel

Thanks, Festive Greetings to you too :-)

I see Mel has reported that there are XP versions which also work well.

Now, where are those mince pies....

Cheers,

Hi Jimbo,

It's been a bit like that here too. My flying hours have leapt in the last few days!

You'll be pleased to hear I've had no problrms with the new drivers and losing the blue edge to those runway markings is a big plus!

I'm down to my last 6 mince pies so your offer is gratefully accepted - please dispatch emergency rations immediately! :-)

Cheers,

Ray.

Yep, been having a blast with flying around the States using Justin's (fsgenesis) mesh terrain :-)

I am also using Justin's US mesh. I started in Charleston, WV (where I live) and I have been working my way down the Appalachians in short hops. I'm down around Chattanooga somewhere currently. The mountainous terrain is extremely cool. BTW.. I'm still using Eddie Dennie's Virgna/W.Virginia mesh. I prefer it.

Look at the Charleston, WV airport (Yeager, KCRW)in the FSGenesis mesh, and then install the Eddie Denny mesh and compare. The Denny mesh looks much more like what it really looks like. It's a free download so go for it.
