Andrew Crawford and I just completed a multiplayer flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 using the FlightAdventures host.

The aircraft tags look just like the ones in FS 2000. The tags work in both 3D and top down views. While in multiplayer I changed from the C172 to the Bell and the Andrew noticed the change as soon as I got close enough for him to see me. I did not notice any of the vertical bobbing motion FS 2000 is known for when I landed the Bell near Andrew's aircraft.

We were using Roger Wilco during the flight, so we did not check to see if we were subject to the text chat window reseting to the beginig of the conversation. I have seen discriptions of that in other venues.

I was unable to get the ADF and DME lock on Andrew in the manner I ussually lock onto anouther player in FS 2000 multiplayer. I verifyed that ADF and DME lock was checked in the multiplayer settings dialog and used the CTRL-SHFT-T key combination to display his player ID in the upper right corner of my display.
