Hey Mel,

>>I have a nice big bag of rags, just waiting for her next polish job.....please stop by at your earliest opportunity. Grin.<<

LOL!

>>Now....if I can ever figure out all of this log in stuff !<<

My guess is that you're trying to log in via that ACARS window that pops up. Don't...it doesn't work like that yet. Just go straight to the message board, and log in there. Then ya won't be a passenger, and we can all see those wings! <g>

I think that the username and pw are case sensitive, so dbl check that you have that right. Other than that, we need Ben's help. Ben???

Ditto that!

I've seen a few airplanes in my time, but Mel's beauty looks like a museum piece. I love the in flight picture Mel sent us--looks like it's straight out of those aviation calendars. Awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing with us, Tarmack!

Ben and Greenie,

You guys sure know how to make a retired pilot feel welcome !

I am sure that all of the "cadre" here now and to come will do the same for the HORDES that will descend upon this site once FS2002 is on the shelves.

Regards,

Mel

Ben,

Great minds think alike !

You mentioned that the picture of the Curtiss reminds you of an aviation calendar !

Well, it WILL be !

Next year, the EAA in their 2002 calendar WILL have a month that features the Curtiss Falcon !

The photo's were taken, including the one that I sent you, during an inflight session with the EAA photo plane during the last Sun N Fun event in April.

We took off before dawn one morning........and the colors of that dawn seemed to enhance the gray and navy blue of my airplane....that same photo session will also produce the COVER of the EAA December issue !

Mel

Wow! Congratulations, Tarmack! That's a great honor.

Can't wait to see the cover pix. I bet it would make a great pix for a Windows desktop wallpaper. <hint, hint!> :)
