"RE: the gates" 06-04-05, 15:59z  LAST EDITED ON 06-04-05 AT 16:03z () Unfortunately the jetways in the scenery that comes with Microsoft Flight Simulator aren't capable of extending to contact the aircraft. I have seen reports of objects like hanger doors opening in third party add on scenery (for earlier FS versions). Those effects were based on the players aircraft entering a circle around the object. That process wouldn't be realistic for jetways, which wouldn't extend until the aircraft is stationary with the wheel chocks in place. I don't know if it would be possible for scenery designers to link scenery to the aircraft's "main entrance" operation (Shift-e). Check out the animated rides at New York's Coney Island, elevators on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and 10:00 PM (local time) fireworks near the Las Vegas, Nevada Casinos!
