"Questions"

Patty,
These are a few questions I would like to ask you.

1)What attracted you to aviation and how did you get "hooked"
2)How old were you when you earned your pilots lisence
3)How old were you when you entered the Aerobatics Scene
4)Why is the Extra 300 your choice of aircraft instead of a Cap, Suhkoi, Giles or the Pits.

Thank You Fergus Russell

Fergus

I can't answer your questions in 25 words or less. I wrote a book a few years ago called "Fire and Air" which would give you much more detailed answers. Regarding age, I was in my 20s, but I'm wondering why you ask? Are you interested in flying and are you concerned about your own age? Re: the Extra, it's the strongest airplane out there. I love the Pitts, but it's not competitive in international aerobatics which I was involved in for a long time. The Sukhoi and Cap have both had structural failures, so I go with the airplane I trust.

Best regards
Patty

Thanx for replying. I asked these questions as i have built a few r/c models of your aircraft and i am in the Air Trainig Corps here in Scotland. My intentions are to go into commercial aviation as a job and then General Aviation. In the Space of 100 Years Aviation has expanded from the Wright Brothers to Aerobatic pilots of today like yourselfand there will be even more advancements on the way.
