Trautman Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "Extra 300" 07-10-05, 22:51z  Hi, Does it make any sense whatsoever to purchase an Extra 300L to do aerobatics as well as make semi-regular 225nm trips to a vacation home? Patty_Wagstaff Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: 1. "RE: Extra 300" 07-11-05, 22:25z  Dave, I commute in my Extra all over the country. It's fast and comfortable. Noise levels are a bit high in any aerobatic airplane, but I use Bose headsets and sometimes earplugs when necessary. You can cram them with baggage so they're pretty versatile.
