"Becoming an airline pilot"
08-04-03, 23:57z

Hey guys! Ever since I can remember, aviation has always sparked my interest. I just love airplanes and how they work as well as how they fly. A few weeks ago, I finally made up my mind that I want to pursue a career in aviation and become an airline pilot. I am 16 and will be a junior this year. I have been looking into a few colleges that offer flight training, etc. as well as the Air Force and am wondering which would be the better choice. I am just looking for a way to get trained and get my foot in the door of the industry so I can reach my goals. I have been getting A's in every area except for math, which I tend to get B's in. (Unfortunately, math isn't one of my better subjects). I am also taking the hardest classes that my high school has to offer (Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, etc.) to better prepare myself for a job in the airlines.
So, if there are any airline pilots, or just pilots in general who would like to give me some suggestions/opinions on how to get my flight training, etc. please respond.

Thanks!

Eif
