  • Estimated DC-3 fuel consumption: 300 lb.. Remember to adjust fuel level so you won't be too heavy landing at KSBP.
  • Follow 308° outbound radial from Gaviota (GVO @ 113.80) until intersection NINOO reached.
  • As Aircraft is not equipped with DME, use second indicator on radio compass to determine when an intersection is reached. Bearings are provided in the plan for that purpose. You should be able to leave NAV 2 receiver tuned to Fellowes (FLW @ 117.50) for the entire flight. You should only need to retune the NAV 1 receiver to obtain bearing to Morro Bay (MQO @ 112.40) after crossing NINOO intersection. Depending on ceiling and visibility, destination may be in sight by the time you reach NINOO.

Don't forget to check the time for the April 10 flight!
