"Japan Scenery Errors?"
11-02-04, 20:21z

I'm seeing remarkably tall buildings on or near Osaka Itnl(RJOO) and Tokushima (RJOS) airports in FS 9.1. I suspect somebody shifted a decimal point. Does anyone else see these gigantic hangers near the fuel pumps at Tokushima? They could assemble Saturn Vs in there!

There's a long suspension bridge near Kobe. Would you loke to check it out in multiplayer this weekend?

Greetings Robert:

>I'm seeing remarkably tall buildings on or near Osaka
>Itnl(RJOO)

I'm running FS9 (un-patched) and see some tall buildings south of JR00, but they don't seem disproportionately large. Perhaps it's a problem with the patch?

The are two very large buildings on the south side of RJOS airport, but I'm not sure if they're incorrect either. They are very large, but not unbelieveably so IMHO.

Hey, that sounds good to me!

The building at Osaka Itnl seems to be connected to the patch. I don't see it on the older computer I didn't apply the patch to. It's opposite the passenger terminal a couple of hundred feet north of a rotating beacon tower. The beacon tower seems to have disapeared with the patch. I confirmed the relative position via multiplayer over LAN. The building is solid for helicopter landings. Altimeter reading in the R22 is 650 ft.

The three buildings at Tokushima are appearing in both versions. They have hanger door textures around their bases. There are normal height hangers in the same position in FS 2K.

G,day Robert,
I don,t have the patch installed and yes, I see disproportionably large buildings (3) to the right of r/w 11 at RJOS and (1) huge building opposite the terminal at RJOO.
Regards, Andy
